Do you expect exciting opportunities to abundantly appear in your life? Why not?

New opportunities surround you every day. All you need to do is recognise them. Now that's a real New Year's Resolution ... "I will see opportunities in everything that comes into my life."

An abundance mindset keeps your mind open to these new opportunities. So why not greet each new day with excitement and anticipation?

Unexpected things are going to occur today ... and even if you are temped to judge them as good or bad, it all really just "is".

Look for the gift in everything that happens in your life. When you search for the gift in your day, you often find beautiful, hidden gems.

So stop demanding that the day be exactly what you set out for it to be ... be flexible and accept that the path often changes. A positive attitude will keep you living in the moment.

Living in the moment helps you recognize new opportunities.

When you focus on the present, regrets of the past and worries of the future simply cannot exist in the same space.

Living with an abundance mindset creates a healthy optimism that brings you confidence.

So make Carpe Diem (latin for "Seize The Day!") your mantra.

If you know, without a doubt, that each day brings opportunities and you explore each one with all the gusto you've got, you'll start living from passion instead of being on automatic.

Self-Reflection Questions:
1. Do you expect that good things will happen to you each day?

2. How can you make your mind more open to new possibilities?

3. How can you encourage yourself to take swift action on the opportunities you find?

Learn from others' experience ....
I am here for a purpose and that purpose is to grow into a mountain, not to shrink to a grain of sand. Henceforth will I apply ALL my efforts to become the highest mountain of all and I will strain my potential until it cries for mercy.
~ Og Mandino

The way you get meaning into your life is to devote yourself to loving others, devote yourself to your community around you, and devote yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning.
~ Mitch Alborn
