Over
the past few weeks, our Monday night group has been
honing in on how to make our goals work by recognising
the metaphysics behind what they consciously say they
want.
To
put it simply - today is the blueprint of your tomorrow.
Every
day, what you feel deep inside is delivered on by God
(or the Universe or whatever you call It). So your future
is very much a product of what you feed into the computer
of your mind today.
How
you think and live today is a reflection of how you
will spend tomorrow, therefore, any goals you want to
see in your life must begin today.
Most
of us spend our lives beating ourselves up and living
in the regret that we're not the champion we think we
should be.
You
don't have time for regret. Your life is ticking away.
If you truly want something, you have to go for it with
every fibre of your being.
Your
first priority is to live and feel your dreams "as
if" they already exist ... right here, right now
... in present tense. For example,if you want to be
great at tennis, it's not "I will be an A grade
tennis player one day" ... but "I am an A-grade
tennis player". Then constantly imagine the energy
and emotion someone like Serena Williams feels when
she plays. Be there. Live it. Play the games in your
mind and see yourself defeating ... and consoling ...
the other champions.
Know
that the sky is not the limit, but rather the beginning
of a new level. As we achieve, we constantly move the
goal posts and set ourselves new goals. There is so
much to do, explore and achieve in this journey called
life.
So
choose to be an active participant in life. Seize every
opportunity to learn new skills and improve yourself.
Your
future is not an isolated event, but a collection of
individual days. If you resolve to make each day count,
you'll form new habits that will create the mold for
the Universe to pour its stuff into.
While
you are waiting for the Universe to deliver the full
goal, move your feet and start the smallest actions
toward that goal ... just so It knows you're serious.
You are ... aren't you?
Attention:
This is not a dress rehearsal ... this is the performance.
Self-Reflection
Questions:
1. Where will today's actions lead you five years from
now?
2.
Can you "live" your goal in your mind in present
tense words and feelings?
3.
What do you need to change in your mind, attitudes and
daily life to attract your five-year plan?
When we give freely, we are telling
the Universe that we have no fear of lack and that we
truly believe that abundance will flow into the space
created by our giving.
