When we give freely, we are telling the Universe that we have no fear of lack and that we truly believe that abundance will flow into the space created by our giving.

Have you got the courage to step away from your comfort zone and try something new? At our last Monday group, one of our regulars, Rick, decided to challenge himself.

Rick had never led a discussion group or taught a class before. Doing so, was his way out of his comfort zone ... the place where there's a feast of nerves and voices that say "what if you fail, what if you are awful, what if you don't know what you're talking about, what if someone challenges you". You've heard those voices yourself when you face the boundaries of your comfort zone, haven't you?

In doing so, he discovered a new talent and moved the horizon of his self-image to a broader self acceptance.

I was living in London when I first decided to challenge my comfort zones. I went out and did things that I'd never have the guts to do back in Australia. Why? Because in London no one knew me. I could be anything I wanted to be because I didn't care about the judgements that might be aimed at me.

I gave myself the easy way of challenging limitations - by being in a foreign place with an escape ticket home. But in so doing, I won a high paying job from 500 applicants. I met people that I'd never have otherwise met, and I discovered the power of attraction (although I hadn't labeled it then).

You don't have to go to London to do it. If you find it hard to challenge yourself, go to a different suburb or city and just act and feel AS IF you are all you want to be. Or, better still, just go about your day where you live AS IF you have it all and AS IF it doesn't really matter how things turn out.

I was able to birth new talents and new attitudes because I let go of the fear of judgement and removed my self-imposed limitations. It didn't matter how things turned out - I was having a good time whatever happened.

You have much more talent than you can imagine. The only way that you can find out if you are good at something is by actually giving it a try.

Eliminate fear and doubt from your attitude and proceed forward with full confidence. Create determination and confidence to guide you. You'll find you are unstoppable because you have the desire to become someone greater than you are today.

Reach out for constructive advice and support. Getting advice from people who've done what you want to do is the best way to cultivate new passions.

The journey of self-discovery leads you to unexpected destinations. By allowing your personal evolution to expand, your talents and abilities will change and grow every day.

So today, choose to move past the fear and propel yourself forward in the pursuit of new talents. This is the day to start something new - begin exploring the rest of your life! You're worth it.

Self-Reflection Questions:

1. What are your dreams?

2. How can you cultivate living AS IF?

3. Would you act AS IF if you were on holiday in London - then why not live AS IF today?

Learn from others' experience ....
The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.
~ Martin Luther King

When we least expect it, life sets us a challenge to test our courage and willingness to change; at such a moment, there is no point in pretending that nothing has happened or in saying that we are not ready. The challenge will not wait. Life does not look back. A week is more than enough time for us to decide whether or not to accept our destiny.
~ Paolo Coelho
