At
Christmas we do things that we should be doing all year
round. Thinking of others and giving gifts and cheer.
So let's look at your gift giving profile beyond the
Christmas season.
Do
you give selflessly with no strings attached? Giving
promotes kindness, love, and positivity in the world
around you.
if you can help just one person each day in some small
way, you are making a positive difference in the world.
When we give, we never know the extent of what our gift
accomplishes.
This
coming year, our centre will be supporting local and
international causes through your donations. We will
all be giving to help members of the human family.
No matter where you see yourself financially, we in
this country, have been so blessed. So be glad to share
what you have with those less fortunate.
No
matter who you are or what you have, you have gifts
to give. Money, time, or other blessings - give freely
without expectation of return. The act of giving makes
you appreciate all your blessings in abundance.
If
you were ever in need, would you want there to be people
around who were generous and who would lend a helping
hand?
So,
not just at Christmas but every day, give your gifts
freely to others.
The
greatest gift to give is the gift of love. Give generously.
first to yourself, then your partner & children,
then to the rest of the world. Teach your children to
be compassionate and give freely of themselves. That's
the greatest gift you can give them.
Have
a great Christmas. Be naughtily nice.
Self-Reflection
Questions:
1. When was the last
time you gave selflessly with no string attached?
2.
How does it make you feel when you share your blessings
with others?
3.
How are you making a positive difference in the world?
