There are hundreds of spiritual beliefs in the world, each of them serving their culture ... for it is the culture that creates the trappings of religion. Yet we are all on the same journey. This year Australia is hosting them all at World Parliament of Religions. It will be held in Melbourne in December (Click here for Webpage). It's a wonderful opportunity to meet people from all around the world to explore their cultures and beliefs, the commonality of our core spiritual beliefs, and to hold a mirror to ourselves. As part of the growing interest in New Thought, a team of well known New Thought ministers is flying in including, probably the best knowm, Michael Beckwith who has been seen in "The Secret" and on Oprah several times. On December the 1st, we will all be meeting for a whole day of New Thought presentation. You are welcome to join us. After the Parliament, some New Thought and other guests will be staying on to see Australia and we hope to host several of them here on the Gold Coast. More on that later. |

A person will worship something, have no doubt about that. We may think our tribute is paid in secret in the dark recesses of our hearts, but it will out. That which dominates our imaginations and our thoughts will determine our lives, and our character. Therefore, it behooves us to be careful what we worship, for what we are worshipping we are becoming. ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson |
In case you haven't noticed, we are moving location. The lease will be signed in the next few days, after which we'll send out an announcement. At last, this is a permanent center dedicated to New Thought classes and meetings. |

While pointing out the fundamental similarities between
world religions, I do not advocate one particular religion at the expense
of all others, nor do I seek a new 'world religion'. All the different
religions of the world are needed to enrich human experience and world
civilization. Our human minds, being of different calibre and disposition,
need different approaches to peace and happiness. It is just like food.
Certain people find Christianity more appealing, others prefer Buddhism
because there is no creator in it and everything depends upon your own
actions. We can make similar arguments for other religions as well.
Thus, the point is clear: humanity needs all the world's religions to
suit the ways of life, diverse spiritual needs, and inherited national
traditions of individual human beings. |
